CORAL GARDENER

Why Restoring and Protecting Coral
is Crucial for the Future of Our Oceans

Are you looking to make a difference while diving and contribute to the preservation of the marine environment?

RESTORING CORALS,
PRESERVING THE FUTURE

Join us for a coral restoration dive with Coral Gardener by Island Diving! Since 2016, when we planted a coral table at Saline and set up domes at Gros-Ilets, Island Diving has been actively involved in restoring coral reefs, which are vital to the survival of our underwater ecosystem.

During this rewarding experience, you’ll learn to identify different coral species, replant broken fragments, and master specific techniques as an underwater naturalist. Not only will you improve your diving skills, but you’ll also help preserve a crucial habitat for countless marine species.

Coral reefs play a fundamental role in the marine food chain: they serve as a refuge and breeding ground for many species of fish and marine organisms. Their decline would lead to a dramatic imbalance, threatening thousands of species. By taking action now, we can reverse the trend.

At Island Diving, we firmly believe that protecting the ecosystems we cherish is our responsibility. Coral restoration isn’t just about the future of our oceans, it’s about preserving a natural heritage that future generations deserve to experience. When you dive with us, you’re joining a global movement to protect and restore coral reefs.

Come dive with us and leave a positive mark on the oceans while enjoying an unforgettable adventure. Together, we can ensure that our reefs continue to thrive and provide a rich and diverse marine life for decades to come.
